This project focuses on the sibling bond, on the characteristics and the peculiarity of such a fundamental relationship in the human family. Several couples and small groups of siblings – all living and working in the urban area around the city of Florence – are photographed in their everyday environments and briefly interviewed on their lives with each other.
These portraits are both a documentation of people's singular domestic stories, and is also a wider look into the past and present of the idea of family in central Italy.
