The Sundarbans Delta is the largest mangrove reserve in the world. This 20,000 square km area, straddling India and Bangladesh, is home to about four million people, 550-odd Royal Bengal tigers and very diverse wildlife.
With no sustainable infrastructure, the men and women are pushed to make a living by fishing, prawn collecting, and honey collecting in the forest. Every year around 100 people lose their lives to the tigers. This project brings to the light the human side of this extreme human-animal conflict.
